Right from the beginning, according to Rev. Lloyd’s philosophy, St. John’s was a welcoming church. This we continue to this day, welcoming people from many nationalities, religious traditions, and cultures — including First Nations peoples, people from Atlantic Canada, and people from other parts of the world.
Our worship is liturgical (that is, based in a particular form or shape) and thoroughly Biblical. Most of our services feature the Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion.
St. John’s hosts an array of special services throughout the year, both on Sundays and during the week. There is a weekly Wednesday morning service at 9:30 a.m., which features exemplary Christians of times past.
Every Sunday we have two services; one at 9:00 a.m. which is a short, said service, and one at 10:00 a.m. which has music, a children’s story, and Sunday school.
